Light & Shadow

The objective was to design an invitation for the opening event of the Elliott Erwitt Exhibition, which focuses on the theme of Light & Shadow, hosted by the Harry Ransom Center. A significant amount of research was dedicated to selecting an ampersand that effectively illustrated the differences in weight, akin to the changing widths of shadows. Once the design was finalized, a metallic PMS was printed on silk paper, which further enriched the visual play of light.
